Terms of use

What we provide

Mock tests, practice questions, study material and analytics for design entrance examinations, IPMAT, and programming and AI engineering tracks, together with human feedback on the papers that are marked by hand. We work hard to match the real examinations closely, but we are not affiliated with any examination body, and we do not guarantee any examination result or admission outcome.

Who may use it

You need an account, and the details you give us must be true. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must set up and supervise the account and agree to these terms on your behalf.

Your account is yours alone

An account is for one person. Do not share your password or let anyone else use your account. Student accounts are limited to one active session at a time, and signing in on another device ends the earlier session. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Our content, and what you may do with it

The questions, papers, explanations, mind maps, flashcards and figures are ours or are licensed to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own preparation, for as long as your account is open.

You may not copy, record, screenshot, scrape, republish, sell or share the content, or use it to train a model or to build a competing product. Copying and printing are technically restricted on study pages, and working around those restrictions is a breach of these terms. Your own invoices can be printed and saved, and your results remain available to you in your account.

Examination names, and who we are not

We are an independent preparation provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by, or connected to any examination body, and none of them has reviewed or approved our material.

UCEED is conducted by IIT Bombay, and the NIFT entrance examinations by the National Institute of Fashion Technology. Those names and marks belong to their owners and are used here only to describe the examinations our material prepares you for.

Where we describe an examination's structure, marking scheme or syllabus areas, we are describing published facts about a public examination. We aim to keep that description current, but examination bodies change their patterns, and the official source is always the examination body's own material.

What you upload

You keep ownership of the drawings, photographs and write-ups you submit. You give us permission to store them, show them to the evaluator who marks them, and keep them attached to your feedback so you can look back at both. Do not upload anything unlawful, harmful, or that infringes someone else's rights.

Proctored sittings

Some papers can be sat under proctoring, which records activity during the sitting and, where it is switched on for that paper, captures images from your camera and screen. You are told before such a sitting starts and can decline by not sitting that paper. What is captured and how long it is kept is set out in the privacy notice.

Your free paper

A new account is given one complimentary full-length paper. It is released once you confirm your email address, is limited to one per person, and is not exchangeable for money or credit.

Payment, plans and refunds

Payments are currently in sandbox mode. Plans, invoices, coupons and credits may be operated manually while a live payment gateway is not yet enabled, and no live card or bank details are being taken.

Prices are shown in INR and include any taxes shown at checkout. Access begins when payment is confirmed and lasts for the period stated on the plan.

If a plan is not what you expected, write to us within 7 days of the payment and we will consider a refund, less the value of any feedback credits or complimentary sittings already used. We will refund in full where we have failed to provide what was paid for. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

Fair use, and what we may do

Do not attempt to break, overload or probe the platform, sign up automatically, or evade the limits on sign-in and registration. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used to copy or redistribute our content, or where we are required to by law. Where it is fair to do so we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close your account for a breach, unused paid time is not refunded.

Availability

We aim to keep the platform available, but it is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we may change or withdraw features. Where we plan maintenance that will interrupt sittings, we will give notice where we reasonably can.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for examination or admission outcomes, or for indirect or consequential loss.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Where a change is significant we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the platform after that means you accept the updated terms.
